Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Although outside food and drinks are allowed at Merrimac Old Home Days, we’d love it if you showed our amazing vendors some love! We’ve worked hard for months to curate an amazing lineup of food including Downtown Amesbury’s Crave offering burgers, dogs, and lobster rolls. You’ll also find ice cream, slush, BBQ, roast beef, pizza, sausage, and more! Please note, outside alcohol is not allowed at Merrimac Old Home Days due to Town of Merrimac Bylaws and most especially: ours and our vendor’s permits. We are lucky enough to provide a beer and wine garden thanks to support from the Merrimac Select Board and Police Department. All alcohol must be purchased from our vendors and must be contained inside our designated garden. Those with outside alcohol either inside the beer garden or out on festival grounds will be reported to the Merrimac Police Department and will be asked to leave festival grounds. Don’t be the one to ruin it for the entire town. We know what’s in the Yetis. This policy will be strictly enforced by Old Home Days staff.
